A Kiss from Rose|November 10th

Starting your day can sometimes seem so very hard. Just the very thought of getting out of bed and going to a job that you don't like or the fact that you do not have a job. In the book Prayers and Wisdom from Grandma's House, it spoke about being thankful for waking up. It also speaks about how the first thing that you should do is pray. There is nothing like having a communicative relationship with God to start your day. It sets the tone I think. Let's start making it a habit, if you are not already, giving thanks, and saying a prayer in the morning. I am not sure who can go throughout the day without the covering of the Lord. I know I can't. Don't only communicate with God when you need something or when things are going wrong. Let's not use God. Let's be used by God. This was my prayer for this morning.

Thank You, merciful Father, for waking me up this morning. Thank You for being a driving force in my life to do the right thing. Thank You for being forever present in my life. Father I could never repay You for all of the things You have done for me. I can forever praise and glorify Your name, and I will all of the days of my life. Father keep me covered in Your blood throughout my life here on earth. Keep me in Your arms of protection. Protect my enemies. As I continue to try my best to walk in love, grant me favor and mercy. Keep me on the right path. Send people of You to surround me and keep me lifted. Give me the power and authority to speak Your people. Penetrate their mind and hearts to receive me. Cover my family. Place a special protective barrier around my children to keep them out of harm's way.

Father in this season, show the people why You kept me here. Grant me preferential treatment in every door and building enter, with every phone call, email, and people that I speak to. Allow them to see You in me. Make my path clear. Make it trouble and worry-free. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
