After being in the valley for so long, you think you will never get out. You think of how many ways can "I" get out, or get to the top. That is great, everyone wants to make it out, everyone wants to get to the top. However, when you are constantly thinking of "I", don't you think you will be lonely, standing at the top of the mountain? Some may say no, but when you are standing there all alone, are you forgetting all of the backs that you had to stand on to get to where you are? No one person can do it all by themselves? Everyone needs help. Even if you think the only person that helped you is Jesus. I am sure Jesus sent help in many forms along the way. Jesus, even in the bible said He will make your enemies your footstool, meaning they will be the tool to help lift you up. There is no "I" in that. Why not think of it as I can't wait until "WE" make it? Reach back and help someone else stand on the top of that mountain and share the story of the victory of how God got you all there. You see, God is always in the midst. Even if you think no other earthly person help you, it still wasn't you alone. God is the one that made the way out of no way. So it will still be, God "WE" made it! It feels good to share a happy victory with someone. It feels even better to stand on the top of the mountain smiling and sharing tears with someone who understands the struggle of the valley.
Lend a helping hand, and let everyone shout their praises to the Most High God for bringing you all out!
I will extol the Lord at all times;
His praise will always be on my lips.
I will glory in the Lord; let the afflicted hear and rejoice.
Glorify the Lord with me; let us exalt his name together.
Psalm 34:1-3
I thank you, Lord, with all my heart;
I sing praise to you before the gods.
I face your holy Temple, bow down, and praise your name
because of your constant love and faithfulness,
because you have shown that your name and your commands are supreme.
Psalm 138: 1-2
I will give thanks to the Lord because of his righteousness;
I will sing the name of the Lord Most High.
Psalm 7:17
I want us all to make it to the top so we can give God the glory. Let us all share the goodness of God's favor and promises. -Alston Shropshire
