A Kiss from Rose | God Meant Good Devotional

“‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.’” – Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV)

From the beginning, God’s intentions for humanity have been rooted in relationship, purpose, and love. We weren’t created to merely exist—we were created to thrive in His presence, to reflect His image, and to walk in the abundance of His will.

Even in the face of sin, rebellion, and brokenness, God’s plan never changed. Redemption was always on His mind. His heart beats for reconciliation. He desires that none should perish but that all would come to know Him, trust Him, and live a life full of meaning and eternal significance.

God’s intention was never to harm you—but to heal you, walk with you, and grow you into everything He dreamed when He formed you. You are not an accident. You are not forgotten. You are part of a divine design.

Are you living according to God’s intentions—or your own expectations?

Father, thank You that Your intentions for me are good, pure, and eternal. Help me to align with Your will and trust Your plans—even when I don’t understand them. Remind me daily that I was made on purpose and for purpose. Amen.
