A Kiss from Rose | Your Services Are No Longer Needed

There comes a point in your life when you stop trying to convince people.

Stop trying to explain yourself.

Stop trying to make people understand what God already understands.

And you simply say:

“Your services are no longer needed.”

Not from a place of anger.

Not from a place of bitterness.

But from a place of peace.

Because God got me.

No need to ask how the job is going.

God got it.

No need to ask how the business is doing.

God got it.

No need to ask how the marriage is.

God got it.

No need to ask how my spouse is doing.

God got it.

No need to ask about the situation with my children.

God got it.

No need to ask about my family.

God got it.

No need to ask about the falling out with friends.

God got it.

No need to ask about my health.

God got that too.

You see, there comes a season when you realize that not everyone who asks is concerned.

Not everyone who inquires is invested.

Not everyone who checks in is committed to helping carry the burden.

Some people are gathering information.

Some are gathering conversation pieces.

Some are gathering updates.

Some are waiting to see if you fail.

Some are waiting to see if you’re broken.

Some are waiting to see if the weight finally crushes you.

But God…

God is carrying what they are watching.

That’s the difference.

There were nights when nobody called.

God was there.

There were tears nobody saw.

God saw them.

There were battles nobody helped fight.

God fought them.

There were prayers you whispered into pillows.

God heard every one of them.

There were moments when your heart was shattered and your spirit exhausted.

God stayed.

People often underestimate what it means when a person says:

“God got me.”

That statement is usually born from surviving things that should have destroyed you.

It’s born from learning that people are limited but God is not.

It’s born from discovering that human support can disappear, but divine support remains.

It’s born from realizing that God was handling situations before you even knew they existed.

And maybe that’s where your peace comes from now.

Not because life is perfect.

Not because everything worked out exactly how you wanted.

But because you’ve seen God move too many times to doubt Him now.

You’ve watched Him provide.

You’ve watched Him protect.

You’ve watched Him restore.

You’ve watched Him heal.

You’ve watched Him make a way when there was no way.

So now when life starts lifing…

You don’t panic like you used to.

You don’t chase people like you used to.

You don’t beg for understanding like you used to.

You simply smile and remind yourself:

God got it.

💌 Grandma’s Corner

Some people were assigned to watch.

Some people were assigned to judge.

Some people were assigned to gossip.

Some people were assigned to leave.

But God was assigned to carry you.

So respectfully…

Thank you for your concern.

Thank you for your opinions.

Thank you for your two cents.

But at this stage of my life…

Your services are no longer needed.

God got me.
