A Kiss from Rose | You Never Have to Beg God for What He Freely Gives

One of the most beautiful truths in life is this:

You never have to wait, compete, perform, or beg for God’s love.

Not for His grace.

Not for His mercy.

Not for His attention.

He gives it — fully, freely, and faithfully.

Even when we are inconsistent.

Even when our prayers go silent.

Even when our faith wavers.

Even when our hearts grow cold.

Despite our flaws… He still chooses us.

Despite our missteps… He still reaches for us.

Despite our lack of communication… He still speaks.

Despite our lack of dedication… He still covers.

Despite our wandering… He still watches over us.

That kind of love cannot be found in any human on this earth.

People love based on timing, conditions, feelings, and benefit.

They show up when they want to, check in when it suits them, and sometimes pull away without explanation.

God?

He is present even when we are absent.

He is patient when we are messy.

He is loyal when we are lost.

Look at Peter.

He denied Jesus three times — and Jesus still restored him and called him to lead.

Look at the woman at the well.

Five failed relationships. A life full of shame. But Jesus gave her dignity, truth, and living water without hesitation.

Now compare that to how humans move:

Miss a call, delay a text, or make one mistake — and some people are done with you.

Ask for help more than once — and now you’re “too much.”

Fall short — and suddenly they forget all the times you showed up.

But God?

He never grows tired of you.

He never withdraws His love.

He never makes you prove your worth.

He loved you before you knew how to love yourself.

That is why we trust Him.

That is why we serve Him.

That is why we keep coming back to Him — because no one else loves like He does.

“The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to an end. They are new every morning.” — Lamentations 3:22-23
