You can’t starve someone God is feeding.

You may try to withhold love, but God will send someone who knows how to love them. You may withhold attention, but God will place them in the presence of people who see their value. You may try to close doors of opportunity, but God has already opened another one that no man can shut. You may withhold kindness, compassion, grace, faithfulness, concern, your presence, your availability, your willingness, or even financial support, believing you’ve taken something away from them.

But you haven’t.

Because God is their Provider.

People often believe they have more control than they actually do. They believe they can deprive someone of what they need. They believe that by withholding affection, support, opportunities, encouragement, or resources, they somehow have the final say. But God gently reminds us that He alone is Jehovah Jireh—our Provider. He is not limited by people, positions, relationships, titles, or circumstances.

Before someone can deprive you of what you need, God is already sending it.

Before one door closes, He is preparing another to open.

Before one person walks away, He is positioning someone else to walk in.

Before the opportunity is taken from you, He has another opportunity with your name on it.

Before the blessing is delayed, He is arranging another avenue for it to reach you.

God is never caught off guard. He has already gone before you. He sees what you cannot see and prepares what you didn’t even know you would need. His provision isn’t reactive—it is intentional. He supplies according to His riches, not according to another person’s willingness. He is able to provide peace when someone withholds understanding, joy when someone withholds kindness, hope when someone withholds encouragement, and love when someone withholds affection.

So don’t spend your life chasing what someone refuses to give you.

Don’t beg for what God has already promised to provide.

Don’t fear what someone has the power to withhold, because they do not have the power to stop God’s hand.

If God says you need it, He will provide it.

If God says you’re ready for it, He will send it.

If God says it’s yours, no amount of withholding can keep it from reaching you.

People may control their hands.

They may control their words.

They may control their choices.

But they will never control God’s provision.

You can’t starve someone God is feeding.

Because before the world says “no,” God has already prepared a “yes.”

And what God has for you will always find its way to you.
