A Kiss from Rose | When Pearls Pray

Sometimes, you don’t even have the words—you just pray.

Not for things. Not for opportunities.

But for people.

The right people.

Genuine souls who will love you honestly.

Teach you patiently.

Hold you gently.

Appreciate you deeply.

You pray they’re sent by God—not by chance—because you’re tired of temporary.

Tired of pretending.

Tired of being too much or never enough.

And in that prayer, you ask something simple but raw:

“God, when You send them… please don’t let my pain push them away.”

Because healing doesn’t always look pretty.

Sometimes it looks like silence. Or overexplaining. Or distant eyes trying to protect a heart that’s been misread too many times.

You hope they don’t see your transparency as weakness.

But as wisdom—evidence that you’ve survived.

That you’ve grown.

You’ve endured.

You’ve been shaped by pressure, by heartbreak, by stretching seasons.

And all that irritation? It wasn’t for nothing.

Like a pearl, you’ve become something rare.

Formed over time.

Hidden in the deep.

Made with patience, pain, and divine purpose.

“And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace… will Himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.”

—1 Peter 5:10

Now, all you’re praying for…

Is that God sends other pearls.

Other rare hearts.

Reflections of Him.

People who recognize your light, your process, your value—

Not as a burden.

But as a blessing.

Because deep down, you believe this:

“Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights…”

—James 1:17

You’re ready to be seen.

Not just for who you’ve been,

But for who you are becoming.

Another gem.

Another mirror.

Another miracle.

Another pearl.

Let them find you. Let them stay. Let them love.

Because this time…

You’re worth every bit of it.

Is this you?
