A Kiss from Rose | What God Called Us to Do

Sometimes, we all need to be reminded of the core purposes God called us to do. Often, we lose focus and do not stay the course. Today's message is simple, sweet, and to the point. Save it! Please put it in your notes. Please print it out and place it on your desk or refrigerator.

1. Love God and Love Others

“Jesus replied: ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’”

– Matthew 22:37–39 (NIV)

2. Live a Holy Life and Be Set Apart

“For God did not call us to be impure, but to live a holy life.”

– 1 Thessalonians 4:7 (NIV)

3. Share the Gospel

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit…”

– Matthew 28:19 (ESV)

4. Do Justice, Love Mercy, and Walk Humbly

“He has shown you, O man, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.”

– Micah 6:8 (NIV)

5. Use Our Gifts to Serve Others

“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.”

– 1 Peter 4:10 (NIV)
