📖 Proverbs 29:18 (KJV)
“Where there is no vision, the people perish…”
📖 Psalm 119:18
“Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law.”
📖 John 14:26
“…the Holy Ghost… shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance…”
Father God,
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, I come before You with gratitude for the gift of sight and the power of memory.
You created my eyes to see clearly—
not just the natural world, but truth, purpose, and direction.
You created my mind to remember—
to retain wisdom, to recall knowledge, and to walk in understanding.
So today, I ask You to cover both.
Lord, touch my eyesight.
Strengthen my vision from the inside out.
Let my eyes function with clarity, precision, and alignment.
Every part—my pupils, my retina, my optic nerves—
every system that allows me to see…
Let it operate exactly as You designed it.
Remove strain.
Remove distortion.
Remove anything that interferes with clear sight.
But Father, don’t just sharpen my physical vision…
Sharpen my spiritual vision.
📖 Ephesians 1:18
“The eyes of your understanding being enlightened…”
Open the eyes of my understanding.
Let me see what You are doing.
Let me recognize what is for me… and what is not.
Let me not be blinded by distraction, confusion, or deception.
Give me vision for my life.
Vision for my purpose.
Vision for my next steps.
Lord, I bring my memory before You.
You are the Author of my mind.
Strengthen my ability to retain, recall, and process information.
Every function—my brain, my neurons, my cognitive pathways—
let them operate in excellence and divine order.
Remove forgetfulness that is not of You.
Remove confusion.
Remove mental fog.
📖 2 Timothy 1:7
“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power… and of a sound mind.”
I declare that I have a sound mind.
I remember what I need to remember.
I retain what I need to retain.
I recall what I need to recall—at the right time.
Bring back to my remembrance what I’ve learned, what I’ve prayed, and what You have spoken to me.
Father, I acknowledge the importance of both vision and memory.
Because vision guides me forward…
and memory anchors me in what You have already done.
Vision helps me move with purpose.
Memory reminds me of Your faithfulness.
Without vision, I lose direction.
Without memory, I forget Your power.
So keep both strong within me.
Let my eyes see clearly.
Let my mind function sharply.
Let my spirit remain aligned.
Let me never forget who You are…
and never lose sight of where You are taking me.
I seal this prayer in the blood of Jesus.
My vision is clear.
My mind is sound.
My memory is strong.
It is done.
It is established.
It cannot be reversed.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.
