Today I choose peace.

Not because everyone has done right by me.

I choose peace because my heart deserves rest.

My mind deserves calm.

And my spirit deserves freedom.

Today I choose kindness.

Not because everyone has been kind to me.

Not because life has always been fair.

But because kindness reflects the person I desire to be.

I refuse to allow bitterness to take root.

I refuse to allow frustration to steal my joy.

I refuse to carry unnecessary burdens that do not belong to me.

Today I choose to smile more.

Forgive quicker.

Give grace where I can.

Speak life instead of negativity.

And focus on what truly matters.

I understand that everyone is carrying something.

Some battles are visible.

Others are hidden behind smiles, busy schedules, and daily routines.

That is why I choose compassion.

That is why I choose understanding.

That is why I choose to lead with love.

Peace does not mean there are no storms.

It means I trust God in the middle of them.

Kindness does not mean weakness.

It means I have chosen strength over hostility and grace over anger.

So today…

I release worry.

I release offense.

I release unnecessary drama.
