A Kiss from Rose | The Serenity Prayer

God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,

the courage to change the things I can,

and the wisdom to know the difference.

This prayer sounds simple…

But it will confront you if you really live it.

Because some of you are exhausted not from life…

…but from trying to control what was never yours.

You’ve been overthinking.

Overexplaining.

Overextending.

Trying to fix people who don’t want to change.

Trying to hold together situations God already released.

Trying to force outcomes that were never assigned to you.

And then wondering why you’re tired.

That’s not life draining you…

That’s misalignment.

Serenity is not weakness.

It’s power.

It’s the strength to sit still and say,

“I’ve done what I can… the rest is not mine.”

Now let’s talk about courage.

Because it takes courage to change you.

To admit where you’ve been wrong.

To break habits that feel comfortable.

To walk away from what feels familiar but isn’t healthy.

It’s easier to point fingers.

It’s harder to look in the mirror.

But that’s where real transformation happens.

And wisdom?

Wisdom is the difference between fighting battles that build you…

…and fighting battles that break you.

Because everything doesn’t need your reaction.

Everything doesn’t need your explanation.

Everything doesn’t deserve your energy.

Some things need your silence.

Some things need your distance.

Some things need your release.

So today…

Stop wrestling with what God already resolved.

Stop carrying what was never assigned to you.

And start asking yourself the real question:

“Is this mine to fix… or mine to release?”

Because once you answer that honestly…

Peace will follow.

💌 Grandma’s Corner

You’re not tired because life is hard…

You’re tired because you’ve been trying to do God’s job.

Let Him handle what only He can.

And you handle what’s yours.
