A Kiss from Rose | The Purpose of God’s Shield

God’s purpose in shielding us is rooted in His love, protection, and divine plan for our lives. He shields us not only to keep us from harm but to guide us through difficult seasons, molding us into the people He’s called us to be.

In Psalm 3:3, the scripture says, “But You, O Lord, are a shield for me, my glory, and the lifter of my head.” This verse reminds us that God’s shield is a source of strength, protection, and encouragement, lifting us up when we feel defeated. His shield doesn’t mean we won’t face challenges; rather, it ensures that in the midst of trials, we are not overcome.

God’s shield works through His presence, His promises, and His guidance, always leading us toward victory in Him. Trusting in His protection means walking by faith, knowing that He is with us every step of the way, deflecting what could harm us and turning it into growth and testimony.
