A Kiss from Rose | So You’ve Been Waiting

So you’ve been waiting. You’ve prayed. You’ve trusted. You’ve hoped. You’ve fasted. You’ve cried. You’ve obeyed. And yet… nothing seems to have happened. The phone hasn’t rung. The door hasn’t opened. The breakthrough hasn’t come. The answer hasn’t arrived. So now you’re asking yourself, “God, where are You?” My encouragement to you is simple: keep waiting. Keep trusting. Not because waiting is easy, but because God has never been unfaithful.
Sometimes your greatest blessing arrives at the very moment you’re ready to give up. Sometimes your confirmation comes when you’ve convinced yourself it isn’t coming at all. Sometimes your breakthrough is standing just beyond your last ounce of strength. Just when you’re losing hope. Just when you’re wondering if God has forgotten your address. Just when you’re questioning whether He even heard your prayer. That’s often when God reminds you that He has been working all along.
Here’s the thing—it has never really been about you. It’s about God revealing His faithfulness. It’s about His perfect timing. It’s about His purpose. It’s about giving Him the glory. We often want God to work according to our calendar, but God works according to His will. His timing is never accidental, and His plans are never delayed. They are intentional.
That doesn’t mean He has forgotten you. It doesn’t mean He has overlooked your prayers. It doesn’t mean He has abandoned you. In fact, you have always been at the forefront of His plans. Before you prayed, He knew. Before you worried, He understood. Before you waited, He had already begun working behind the scenes. While you were watching the clock, God was arranging people, opening doors, closing others, protecting you from what you couldn’t see, and preparing you for what you couldn’t yet handle.
God is never late. Every delay has a purpose. Every season has a lesson. Every closed door has a reason. Every “not yet” is preparing you for a greater “yes.” His promises are fulfilled in His time and according to His will, not ours.
So don’t measure God’s faithfulness by your timeline. Measure it by His character. He has never stopped being faithful. He has never stopped loving you. He has never stopped working on your behalf, even when you couldn’t see a single sign of movement.
The real question isn’t whether God will come through. The question is, can you wait? Will you trust Him while you wait? Will you continue to praise Him while you wait? Will you believe that what He promised is still yours, even if it hasn’t arrived yet?

Don’t give up just before God moves. Some of Heaven’s greatest answers arrive after Earth’s greatest moments of doubt. Keep believing. Keep trusting. Keep waiting. God is still writing your story, and when He moves, you’ll understand why He asked you to wait.
