A Kiss from Rose | Protection Ain’t Always Loud — But It’s Always There

📖 Psalm 121:7-8 (KJV)
“The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.
The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.”
🔥 What This Really Means:
🛡️ Protection from a man looks like presence.
He shows up.
He stands up.
He speaks up.
He makes sure you’re not out here fighting battles alone.
He protects your name.
He protects your peace.
He protects your space.
He doesn’t expose you to chaos and call it love.
He doesn’t put you in positions you have to recover from.
That’s intentional protection.
🕊️ But God’s protection?
That’s on a whole different level.
God will protect you from things you never even saw coming.
From conversations your name was in.
From plans that were set against you.
From doors that looked good but would’ve destroyed you.
💡 Real Talk:
🚫 You cried over what didn’t work out — that was protection.
🚫 You questioned why they left — that was protection.
🚫 You were frustrated by the delay — that was protection.
📖 Isaiah 54:17
“No weapon formed against thee shall prosper…”
The weapon formed.
It just didn’t work.
👁️ A man can protect what he can see.
God protects what you don’t even know exists.
A man covers moments.
God covers your life.
🙌🏽 Prayer:
Lord,
Thank You for protecting me in ways I didn’t understand.
Forgive me for calling it loss when it was really covering.
Forgive me for questioning what You were shielding me from.
Help me trust Your protection even when it doesn’t feel good.
Even when it looks like rejection.
Even when it sounds like no.
Let me walk in confidence knowing I am covered seen and unseen.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.
