There ought to be a shout in your spirit when you open the Word of God! Hallelujah! When you sit down and read the Bible, don’t just read—let your heart explode with thanksgiving. Give God the glory right there in your living room! Throw up your hands and say, “Lord, I thank You for Your Word! Glory to God!” When you hear a sermon, don’t hold back. Get ready to run, shout, and dance! If the message hits your spirit, praise Him right where you are, because He is worthy!
Every time you see something that refers to Him, is about Him, or for Him, let your praise rise! When Grandma’s Corner drops an encouraging word into your heart, give God a Holy Ghost shout! My God! It’s your praise that grabs the attention of heaven. When your spirit moans, God begins to shift things. When your hands go up in surrender, watch the blessings of God come down like fire! And when tears run down your face, Hallelujah, know that God is getting up, ready to work miracles on your behalf.
Praise Him in your kitchen! Praise Him on your job! Praise Him in the valley and on the mountaintop! If you haven’t praised God like you should, now is the time! Remember what He’s brought you through, my Lord! You ought to be giving Him a shout of praise right now. Hey Glory! You could’ve been homeless. You could’ve been dead. You could be lying in a hospital bed. You could’ve lost your mind, but God has kept you!
Come on! Praise Him right now! You better give Him glory! Don’t wait! Don’t hold back! Let your praise break loose! Hallelujah!
