A Kiss from Rose | Morning Divinity Prayer

Most Gracious and Heavenly Father,

You who reign in unapproachable light, clothed in majesty and splendor, yet near to the humble and brokenhearted—how excellent is Your name in all the earth! From everlasting to everlasting, You are God. Before time began, You were. Beyond the limits of human understanding, You are. And in the glory of eternity, You will forever be.

Lord, You are the breath of life, the source of all creation, the wellspring of truth and righteousness. In You, there is no shadow of turning, no faltering, no failing. Your love is steadfast, Your mercy unending, and Your faithfulness reaches beyond the stars. You are our refuge, our strong tower, our salvation.

“The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?” (Psalm 27:1, NKJV)

Father, we bow before You in reverence and humility, acknowledging our need for Your grace. We have strayed like lost sheep, seeking fulfillment in fleeting things, yet only You satisfy the longing of our souls. Cleanse us, O Lord, from every iniquity; purify our hearts and make us vessels of honor, fit for Your purpose.

You sent Your Son, Jesus Christ, to redeem what was lost, to restore what was broken, to reconcile us to Yourself. By His stripes, we are healed. By His blood, we are washed clean. By His resurrection, we are raised to new life. There is no salvation apart from Him, no hope outside of His name.

“Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12, NKJV)

Lord, let Your Spirit dwell within us, guiding us in truth, convicting us of righteousness, and empowering us to walk in Your ways. Break every chain that binds us to the world, every stronghold that keeps us from fully surrendering to You. Let us hunger and thirst for Your righteousness, seeking first Your kingdom above all else.

May our lives be a testimony to Your goodness, a reflection of Your holiness, and a light that leads others to the cross. Let us love as You have loved, forgive as You have forgiven, and serve as Christ served. Transform us into the image of Your Son, that when the world sees us, they see You.

“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.” (Matthew 5:16, NKJV)

Most gracious Father, our hearts long for the day when we will see You face to face, when every tear will be wiped away, and sorrow will be no more. Until that glorious day, keep us steadfast in faith, abounding in love, and walking in the power of Your Spirit.

To You alone be all glory, honor, and praise, now and forevermore.

In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray.

Amen.
