A Kiss from Rose | Meet Me in the Middle Prayer

Father God,

Before the emails.

Before the conversations.

Before the responsibilities and expectations.

Meet me here.

Not just in the quiet, polished version of me —

but in the unfinished thoughts, the half-healed places,

the parts of me still learning how to trust You fully.

Today, I don’t just ask for a good day.

I ask for a grounded day.

Ground my emotions so they don’t run ahead of wisdom.

Ground my words so they don’t outrun grace.

Ground my ambition so it never outruns Your timing.

If today brings applause, keep me steady.

If today brings correction, keep me teachable.

If today brings silence, remind me You are still speaking.

Lord, interrupt anything that is not aligned.

Disrupt anything that is disguised as opportunity but lacks Your fingerprint.

And if I start to spiral in overthinking, gently pull me back to peace.

Let my presence shift rooms without striving.

Let my decisions reflect maturity.

Let my energy remain clean.

Today, I choose clarity over chaos.

Faith over fear.

Discipline over impulse.

Compassion over ego.

And if I forget, tap me on the shoulder.

If I hesitate, steady my steps.

If I grow weary, breathe strength back into me.

This day belongs to You.

And because it belongs to You, it cannot defeat me.

In Jesus’ name,

Amen.
