A Kiss from Rose | Love & Appreciation Are Action Words

Scripture Reflection:

“Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.”

— 1 John 3:18 (NIV)

Saying “they know my heart” is not a substitute for showing up.

It’s not the same as calling, comforting, listening, hugging, or helping.

Too many hearts are left guessing.

Too many souls are starving for affection while hearing, “You already know I love you.”

But love unspoken is not love understood.

And appreciation unshown is often appreciation unfelt.

People forget what you said.

But they remember what you did.

The extra mile.

The thoughtful gesture.

The hug that lingered when the tears came.

That’s love. That’s appreciation.

Today, don’t just assume they know.

Prove it.

Show it.

Say it.

Write it.

Pray it.

Cover them in it.

Your love might be the only love they feel today.

Declaration:

I will not hold my love hostage in silence.

I will not assume people know what I feel.

I will speak it. Show it. Share it.

My appreciation will be seen in how I act.

I declare that my love is visible, tangible, and consistent.

I am love in motion — and I will not delay another moment.
