A Kiss from Rose | Let It God

Let’s go a little deeper… in the words of the elders:

Staying petty…

holding onto being upset…

walking around frustrated…

staying mad…

is costing you more than you think.

It’s aging you.

It’s stressing your body.

It’s overworking your heart.

It’s slowing your spirit.

It’s quietly wearing you down… little by little.

And the hardest truth?

It’s robbing you.

Robbing you of peace.

Robbing you of joy.

Robbing you of the lightness you’re supposed to carry.

All while life keeps moving.

See, what you hold onto doesn’t just sit there…

It lives in you.

It shows up in your thoughts.

In your tone.

In your reactions.

In your energy.

And over time, it becomes a weight you weren’t meant to carry.

Not because what happened didn’t matter…

But because you matter more.

💡 Be honest with yourself

How much of your peace has been sacrificed

trying to hold onto a moment that has already passed?

How much of your energy has been drained

replaying something that can’t be undone?

That’s not justice…

That’s self-damage.

Letting go is not denial.

It’s not weakness.

It’s not pretending you weren’t affected.

It’s choosing to stop letting it affect you.

It’s choosing yourself.

Choose kindness.

Not because everyone deserves it…

but because it protects your spirit.

Choose compassion.

Because you don’t always know what people are carrying…

and sometimes grace heals more than reaction ever could.

Choose a good attitude.

Not fake.

Not forced.

But intentional.

Because your attitude sets the tone for your life.

📖 Proverbs 17:22

“A merry heart doeth good like a medicine…”

Peace is not something you stumble into.

It’s something you choose.

Over and over again.

So release it.

The anger.

The frustration.

The need to prove a point.

The desire to stay stuck in what hurt you.

Let it go.

Because what you’re holding onto…

is holding onto you.
