A Kiss from Rose | Let God Cook

Stop trying to figure out His next move. Just watch what God can do!

Now, you know how folks say “LET HIM COOK!” when somebody is doing their thing, making moves, and showing everybody what they’re capable of?

WELL, LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING!

LET GOD COOK!

Because when God starts moving, He doesn’t need an audience full of people questioning His ability!

You may not understand what’s happening. You may not see how things are going to work out. You may even be looking at your situation thinking, “LORD, HOW IN THE WORLD ARE YOU GOING TO HANDLE THIS ONE?”

But remember who you’re talking about!

THE SAME GOD WHO MADE A WAY THROUGH THE RED SEA!

When the Israelites stood between Pharaoh’s army and the water, they couldn’t see a way forward.

But God wasn’t out of options!

Exodus 14:21 tells us the Lord caused the sea to go back, and the waters were divided.

NOW THAT’S WHAT YOU CALL LETTING GOD COOK!

And what about Joseph?

His brothers sold him into slavery. He was falsely accused and imprisoned. Yet God was with him, and Joseph eventually rose to a position of authority in Egypt.

What others intended for evil, God used for good.

Genesis 50:20 — GO READ THAT!

You see, just because you don’t understand what God is doing doesn’t mean He’s doing nothing!

And just because somebody counted you out doesn’t mean God agreed with their assessment!

LET GOD COOK!

Let Him demonstrate His faithfulness.

Let Him reveal what needs to be revealed.

Let Him bring truth into the light.

Let Him open the right doors and give you the wisdom to recognize the wrong ones.

Let Him work on your heart while He’s guiding your steps.

Because sometimes the biggest thing God is doing isn’t changing the people around you.

IT’S CHANGING THE PERSON YOU’RE BECOMING!

Isaiah 55:8 says, “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.” (KJV)

And that’s why you don’t have to understand every move to trust His character.

Now, don’t take “Let God cook” to mean you can ignore responsibility, disregard wisdom, or expect every wish to come true.

No!

YOU KEEP PRAYING. KEEP SHOWING UP. KEEP DOING WHAT’S RIGHT.

But stop acting as though God’s ability is limited by what you can figure out.

Because the God who can make a way through the sea doesn’t need your circumstances to look promising before He can work.

And here’s the part I love:

GOD DOESN’T HAVE TO PROVE HIMSELF TO YOUR DOUBTERS FOR HIS FAITHFULNESS TO BE REAL.

You don’t need to argue with everybody.

You don’t need to explain your entire journey.

You don’t need to convince people that God is still working in your life.

Sometimes you just need to keep walking in faith and let the evidence of a transformed life speak for itself.

So when the situation looks complicated, the odds look unfavorable, and somebody has already decided how your story is going to end—

DON’T PANIC. DON’T PERFORM. DON’T LOSE YOUR FAITH TRYING TO WIN AN ARGUMENT.

LET GOD COOK!

And when you look back and see how He sustained you, strengthened you, corrected you, and carried you through—

Don’t forget to give Him the credit.

BECAUSE GOD DOESN’T JUST KNOW WHAT HE’S DOING…

GOD ISN’T NEW TO THIS. HE’S ETERNAL IN THIS!

“Even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God.” — Psalm 90:2 (KJV)

LET GOD COOK!
