It’s Not My Fault God Favors Me!
I stand confidently in the knowledge that it’s not my fault God favors me. His favor is not something I earned or deserved—it is a gift of His divine grace and love. I receive His favored promises because He is a faithful God who delights in blessing His children. He has chosen me, called me, and covered me with His favor for countless reasons, all rooted in His perfect plan for my life.
Countless Reasons for His Favor
1. I am His Child: God favors me because I belong to Him. As His child, I am an heir to His promises. “See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God!” (1 John 3:1).
2. I seek Him with my whole heart: God delights in those who pursue Him. “The LORD is good to those whose hope is in Him, to the one who seeks Him” (Lamentations 3:25).
3. I strive to walk in obedience: He rewards those who follow His commandments. “No good thing does He withhold from those whose walk is blameless” (Psalm 84:11).
4. I trust in Him completely: My faith pleases Him, and He favors those who trust in His Word. “Blessed is the one who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in Him” (Jeremiah 17:7).
5. He has a purpose for my life: His favor equips me to fulfill His calling. “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them” (Ephesians 2:10).
Why He Will Continue to Favor Me
God’s favor is not temporary or conditional—it is eternal and unwavering. His promises are unshakable, and His love never fails. He will continue to favor me because:
• His Word is true and cannot return void. “So is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it” (Isaiah 55:11).
• He delights in blessing His children. “For the LORD takes delight in His people; He crowns the humble with victory” (Psalm 149:4).
• His grace is sufficient for every season of my life. “But He said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me” (2 Corinthians 12:9).
• He has already promised to never leave or forsake me. “The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged” (Deuteronomy 31:8).
God’s favor is not about me being worthy—it’s about Him being merciful, faithful, and good. I will continue to walk in His favor, not because of who I am, but because of who He is. May His name be glorified through every blessing and every victory He bestows upon me.
Scripture to Declare:
“Surely, LORD, you bless the righteous; you surround them with your favor as with a shield” (Psalm 5:12).
