Let’s talk.
What Herod did wasn’t just history…
it’s behavior we still see today.
📖 Matthew 2:16 — He ordered the killing of innocent children out of fear of losing control.
That’s cowardice.
Not because he lacked power…
but because he lacked truth, courage, and trust in God.
🔥 What Made It Cowardly:
He was ruled by fear.
Didn’t seek wisdom.
Didn’t face the situation head-on.
He attacked the innocent…
because cowardice doesn’t confront strength—it targets what’s easier.
He abused his authority to protect his ego.
And let’s be clear—he was deceptive.
📖 Matthew 2:8 — He pretended to worship while planning harm.
That’s how cowardice moves.
Smiling…
but scheming.
🚩 What It Looks Like Today:
Fear-driven reactions
Control and manipulation
Jealousy and insecurity
Harm toward the vulnerable
Deception and double behavior
Avoiding accountability
Abusing position for self-gain
💡 The Real Lesson:
A strong person:
Faces truth
Trusts God
Protects others
Celebrates others
Moves with integrity
A coward?
They react, manipulate, destroy… then hide.
Let this land.
Cowardice don’t always look loud.
Sometimes it looks like:
Smiling in your face but working against you
Feeling threatened by your growth
Trying to dim your light instead of doing their own work
And hear this clearly—
People who try to destroy what God placed in you are not powerful.
They’re afraid.
📖 Isaiah 54:17 — No weapon formed against you shall prosper.
💌 Grandma’s Corner
Don’t mistake intimidation for strength.
Some people aren’t against you because you’re wrong…
