A Kiss from Rose | Hello

Hello, Grandma’s Corner Family,

Today, I simply wanted to stop by and check on you.

No lesson.

No deep message.

Just a heartfelt reminder that someone is thinking about you.

In a world where everyone seems busy, distracted, rushing, and trying to keep up, it is easy to forget how important it is to check on one another.

Family.

Friends.

Associates.

Neighbors.

Coworkers.

Church members.

Even fellow subscribers.

Human connection matters.

Sometimes a simple text message can make all the difference.

Sometimes a phone call can brighten someone’s entire day.

Sometimes a smile, a wave, or a simple “Hello, how are you?” can remind a person that they are seen, valued, and appreciated.

The truth is, many people are carrying things they never speak about.

Some are grieving.

Some are struggling emotionally.

Some are overwhelmed.

Some are simply tired.

And yet they continue showing up every day with a smile.

That is why kindness matters.

Compassion matters.

Checking in matters.

Being tapped into the people around you matters.

You never know what someone is facing behind the scenes.

You never know if your friendly greeting is the encouragement they needed today.

You never know if your concern could help someone feel a little less alone.

So today, I encourage you to reach out to someone.

Send the text.

Make the call.

Check on a friend.

Check on a family member.

Check on a neighbor.

Check on someone you haven’t spoken to in a while.

And while you’re at it…

Smile.

A genuine smile is free, but it can be priceless to the person receiving it.

From my heart to yours, I pray you are doing well, taking care of yourself, and finding moments of joy throughout your day.

And if no one has told you today…

Hello.

I’m glad you’re here.

With Love,

Alston Shropshire’s Grandma’s Corner 🤎

Sometimes the most powerful message we can give someone is simply: “Hello, I was thinking about you.” 🌿🤎
