Many people say God is first in their lives. I say God is the center of my life. I cannot move on from the first thing, focusing on everything afterward. I need God in the middle of everything. I need Him in the second thing, third thing, and fourth thing. I cannot afford to sit God to the side and pick up anything else. Not my relationship, children, family, or career. I do, however, understand the statement of putting God first. Being the nucleus is much better, however. The word nucleus is defined as "the central and most important part of an object, movement, or group, forming the basis for its activity and growth. You see, the nucleus is the most important part of anything.
You see, you need God as the nucleus of your marriage.
You need God as the nucleus of your finances.
You need God as the nucleus in the lives of your children.
You need God as the nucleus of your friendships.
You need God as the nucleus of your career.
You need God as the nucleus of your home.
You need God as the nucleus of your prayer life.
You need God as the nucleus of your ideas/thoughts.
You need God as the nucleus of your intentions/motives.
You need God as the nucleus of your words.
You need God as the nucleus of your objectives/goals.
You need God as the nucleus of your actions.
You need God as the nucleus of your walk.
You need God as the nucleus of your interactions with others.
You need God as the nucleus of your soul.
When you have God as the center of everything you do, there is no way you could have left Him out.
