When you choose to love someone, it’s essential to commit fully. Loving someone halfway isn’t fair to either party involved; it shortchanges both you and the person you claim to care about. Imagine, for a moment, if God only loved you halfway. What kind of impact would that have on your life?
Now, think about your relationship with your spouse. What if God’s love for you was only as strong as the love you have for your partner? How would that measure up?
These questions highlight the importance of wholehearted love. A half-hearted approach leaves relationships weak and unfulfilled. If divine love were conditional or partial, it would lead to uncertainty, insecurity, and a lack of true connection in our lives. Similarly, when we only half love our partners, we deprive them and ourselves of the depth and richness that true love can offer.
Therefore, embracing love fully not only honors our relationships but also reflects the kind of complete, unwavering love we hope to receive.
“Grandma Rose would say, “I don’t want a piece of anything. Give me the whole thing or you can keep it. Don’t be so desperate that you are willing to take crumbs just to say you have something. If they wanted you to have it they would give it to you!” Be thankful God gives you everything He has! You are not missing one thing.
