A Kiss from Rose | Grief, Friendship & Spiritual Wounds Prayer

Lord of all comfort,

Today, I lift every heart aching with grief — from the loss of loved ones, friends, or spiritual homes.

Where there is silence, send Your whisper.

Where there is pain, send Your presence.

Cover those grieving relationships — where loyalty was broken, or love was lost. Heal the hearts of those missing their friend or searching for their tribe of friends.

Heal the wounds that came from pulpits, pews, or people who claimed Your name but didn’t carry Your heart. Heal those who have experienced “church” hurt. Those who were kicked out/ exiled or experience the cold shoulder while sitting in the midst.

Restore their hope in connection. Rebuild their trust in You.

Let joy tiptoe back in. Let laughter surprise them again. Fill them with with the perfect replacement only You can provide.

Even in grief, God, remind them: they are still held. They are still seen.

And above all, still loved.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
