A Kiss from Rose | God Is Consistent Despite Our Toxic Behavior

Isn’t it humbling how God stays consistent even when we are not?

Despite our inconsistencies, He remains faithful. Even when our hearts wander, when our prayers become infrequent, or when we let doubt, worry, and fear lead our decisions, God doesn’t change His position. He doesn’t pull away when we do. He doesn’t withdraw His love when we act like we don’t need it.

We show up to Him late, distracted, sometimes not at all. We get busy, forgetful, careless with the intimacy we once promised. We speak His name when it is convenient, when it benefits us, or when we are in desperate need, yet He never stops whispering ours before heaven.

We lack trust, yet He keeps showing Himself trustworthy.

We carry toxic behaviors, yet He keeps cleansing our hearts.

We go missing, and He still comes looking.

We live lukewarm, and He still burns with love for us.

He covers us in our confusion, protects us in our rebellion, and favors us in our flaws. How do you explain a love that never pauses? How do you describe a presence that never leaves?

We do not deserve it. But that is the beauty of who He is, not because of us, but in spite of us, He stays.

He still shields us when we act like we are invincible. He still provides when we are undeserving. He still calls us chosen, redeemed, and loved even when we feel disqualified.

God’s love isn’t conditional. It is not earned. It is not transactional.

It is divine. And it is consistent.

No matter where you are in your walk, know this: you are still covered. You are still pursued. You are still loved.
