A Kiss from Rose | Five Days to Ensure Our Prayers Are In Day 4

Keep Me Close, Let Me Shine

Father God,

Today I don’t come asking for much—

I come saying thank You.

Thank You for every breath, every open door, every quiet moment of peace, every lesson, every covering I didn’t see, every yes, every no, and everything in between.

Let thankfulness and gratitude flow from my mouth like living water. Let my first instinct always be praise. Even in the unknown. Even in the uncomfortable.

Lord, keep me close to You.

Close enough to hear You.

Close enough to feel You.

Close enough to reflect You.

Let how I walk, speak, love, and live be evidence that I belong to You. Let Your light shine through me so clearly that people encounter You when they encounter me.

Teach me how to show myself compassion.

To speak kindly to me.

To extend grace to my own heart.

To love myself honestly and wholly—because You do.

Let my intentions be pure.

Let my purpose be meaningful.

Let me see the brighter side, even when the shadows linger.

Remind me daily that my worth is priceless.

That no room I walk into is too big for me.

That I don’t have to shrink to fit anywhere You’ve called me to stand.

May I walk with my head held high—not in arrogance, but in awareness of who I am in You.

Let grace follow me.

Let class carry me.

Let dignity never leave me.

Let a radiant light shine from me that makes no apology for existing.

Because I am Yours.

Because You made me whole.

Because I’m still becoming, and that’s enough.

In Jesus’ name,

Amen.
