A Kiss from Rose | Feeling Marvelous and Majestically Protected by God

2 min read

There is a different kind of peace that comes when you know you are covered by God. Not because life is perfect, and not because every battle has ended or every prayer has been answered exactly the way you wanted. It comes from knowing Who is holding you. Because of that, you can wake up feeling marvelous. Not arrogant or boastful, but grateful. Marvelous because God woke you up. Marvelous because His mercy met you again. Marvelous because His grace has carried you farther than your own strength ever could.

And beyond feeling marvelous, you can walk through life feeling majestically protected. Protected from what you know and what you don’t know. Protected from dangers seen and unseen. Protected from things that never reached you because God intercepted them. Protected from some of your own bad decisions. Protected from bitterness that could have consumed you. Protected from giving up when life became heavy. Protected when people walked away. Protected when tears fell behind closed doors. Protected when your faith was weak and your heart was tired.

The world may not understand it, but there is something powerful about knowing that the King of kings watches over His children. You don’t have to fear every headline. You don’t have to panic over every unknown. You don’t have to fight every battle. You don’t have to explain every blessing, and you don’t have to understand every delay. Because God has not surrendered His authority. He still sits high and looks low. He still commands angels. He still opens doors and closes doors. He still heals. He still restores. He still protects. And He still loves.

So today, lift your head. Smile a little more. Walk a little lighter. Rest a little easier.

Remind yourself, “I am marvelous because God made me. I am peaceful because God keeps me. I am secure because God covers me. And I am majestically protected because I belong to Him.”
