A Kiss from Rose | Declaration and Affirmation
TODAY’S DECLARATION
Though It Tarry, I Will Wait
“For the vision is yet for an appointed time… though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.” — Habakkuk 2:3 (KJV)
Today, I declare that I will not abandon what God showed me simply because I haven’t seen it happen yet. I will not allow waiting to make me question what God said. I understand that an appointed time means there is a time already known by God—even when it is unknown to me.
I declare that I will not force doors, manufacture outcomes, rush relationships, chase opportunities, or make emotional decisions simply because I’m tired of waiting.
If God said wait, I can wait.
What appears late to me is not late to God.
While I’m waiting, God can be arranging circumstances, preparing people, developing resources, moving obstacles, maturing me, and positioning things I cannot see.
So I refuse to dig up the seed just because I haven’t seen the harvest.
I refuse to walk away five minutes before the manifestation.
I refuse to let “not yet” convince me that God said “no.”
My assignment in this season is not to know when.
My assignment is to remain faithful until when becomes now.
TODAY’S AFFIRMATION
I Will Not Let the Wait Wear Me Out
I affirm that waiting will not steal the life I’m living right now.
I can wait and still laugh.
I can wait and still build.
I can wait and still travel.
I can wait and still love.
I can wait and still celebrate somebody else’s answered prayer.
I can wait and still thank God for what I already have.
I will not put my entire life on hold staring at one unanswered prayer.
There is still goodness happening while I wait.
There are still blessings surrounding me.
There are still prayers God has already answered.
There is still life to be lived.
And when doubt whispers, “Maybe it’s never going to happen,” I will answer with God’s Word:
“It will surely come.”
Not because I can predict God’s timing.
Not because everything I personally desire is guaranteed.
But because what God has truly appointed will accomplish His purpose in His time.
💌 Grandma’s Corner
Don’t let the space between the promise and the appointed time make you lose your faith.
The waiting room isn’t an empty room.
God is in there too.
Something can be delayed from your perspective and still be perfectly on schedule in Heaven.
So don’t rush.
Don’t panic.
Don’t manufacture.
Don’t quit.
Live while you wait.
And when the appointed time finally arrives, you may discover that God wasn’t merely preparing the blessing for you…
He was preparing you to properly receive what you had been praying for.
Though it tarry… wait for it.
God knows exactly when “not yet” becomes “now.”
