Christ’s compassion is not confined to the stories of the past; it is very much alive and active in our lives today. He sees each one of us, fully aware of our struggles, fears, and pain, and He responds with the same loving kindness and mercy. In Hebrews 4:15-16, it says, “For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin. Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.”
This scripture assures us that Christ’s compassion is personal and unchanging. He understands our trials, stands ready to offer us grace and strength, and is always near, offering comfort and peace. No matter what we face, His compassion is a constant reminder that we are never alone and deeply loved.
