A Kiss from Rose | Breadcrumbs from Heaven Devotional

“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” – Psalm 119:105 (ESV)

You’ve been through seasons that didn’t make sense. Losses that broke you. Detours that left you confused. But through it all, God left you breadcrumbs—small, sacred signs that He was still there, still guiding, still calling.

A conversation that planted a seed.

A sermon that struck your spirit.

A person you met “by chance.”

A door that closed but protected you.

A moment that reminded you—you are not alone.

God doesn’t always shout. Sometimes, He leaves breadcrumbs. Subtle reminders of His love, His promises, and His direction. You may not have the full map, but you’ve got just enough light for the next step.

He’s never left you wandering without hope—He’s been placing evidence along your path to bring you back to purpose, to His presence, and to your calling.

So pause. Look back. The trail has always been there. He’s been guiding you through every twist and turn.

What breadcrumbs has God left in my life that I need to recognize and follow?

Father, thank You for never leaving me—even when I felt lost. Thank You for the small signs, the divine nudges, and the breadcrumbs that remind me You’re still with me. Open my eyes to see the path You’ve been laying out for me all along. Help me to follow it with faith, knowing that where You lead is where I’m meant to be.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
