A Kiss from Rose| August 10th

A smile. A simple gesture, that takes little effort. The things that should make you smile are countless. Let's just think of a few that are so often forgotten. When someone prays for you, it should make you smile. Why, because they thought of your enough to communicate with God. Another reason is that they are being obedient to the word of God. A final reason is they want you to be better or what is in God's will for your life. Don't take it for granted, do not value a prayer. It is one of the most powerful things a person can do for you.

Something that most people charge of as meaningless and annoying ( until they are going through something) is a positive message or inspirational saying. No matter if it is through email, such as this or text. God put your name on the mind and heart of a person to send you something useful in your life. Smile when you see it, thank God when you read it. Could you imagine those right on time or confirmation messages or emails not getting to you? You could be worried another day or week, months perhaps. So be thankful for those encouraging words. Share them with others. Give others the feeling of a "right on time" moment".

Finally, smile when someone does something nice for you. It shows gratitude and appreciation. It makes them feel good. It is their reward. No one owes you anything in life. Be appreciative. No matter how big or small. If someone talks to you for 3 hours through a situation. Give a smile at the end followed by a thank you. Anything someone does is time and energy out of their day. Again they are being obedient to the word of God, by spreading and showing love.

Psalm 34:5

They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed.

Job 9:27

If I say, I will forget my complaint, I will leave off my heaviness, and comfort myself:

Proverbs 15:30

The light of the eyes rejoiceth the heart: and a good report maketh the bones fat.
