A Kiss from Rose | A Prayer Covering for the Parents Who Poured Into Us

Father God,

In the name of Jesus, I come before You with a heart full of gratitude for the parents You placed in our lives—whether by birth, by bond, or by blessing.

Those who showed kindness.

Those who opened their doors.

Those who spoke life, gave guidance, and created safe spaces without even realizing how deeply it was needed.

Lord, cover them.

📖 Numbers 6:24-26

“The Lord bless thee, and keep thee:

The Lord make his face shine upon thee… and give thee peace.”

Bless their homes with peace.

Bless their hearts with joy.

Bless their minds with clarity.

Restore anything they have poured out into others.

Where they have given, refill them.

Where they have carried others, strengthen them.

Where they have stood as support, let them now be supported.

Father, reward their kindness.

For every time they treated someone else’s child like their own…

For every word of encouragement…

For every moment of patience…

Let it return to them in ways they didn’t even ask for.

📖 Galatians 6:9

“Let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap…”

Let them reap from the love they have sown.

Protect them from harm seen and unseen.

Shield their bodies with health and strength.

Guard their spirits from heaviness and stress.

Lord, let them feel appreciated.

Even in the moments they may not hear it enough…

Let them know their presence mattered.

Their love was felt.

Their impact was real.

Surround them with the same warmth they gave others.

Honor them for their hearts.

And keep them covered in Your grace and favor.

I declare over them:

They are blessed.

They are protected.

They are valued.

They are remembered.
