A Kiss from Rose | A Husband’s Prayer Over His Wife

Gracious and Everlasting Father,

I come before You with a humbled heart, full of awe for the gift You’ve given me in my wife. She is the answer to my prayers, the fulfillment of Your promise, and the crown upon my head. Thank You for trusting me to love, lead, and protect one of Your most precious daughters.

Today, I lift her up to You with reverence, covering her in prayer. I ask that You bless her from the top of her head to the soles of her feet. Surround her with peace that surpasses all understanding. Strengthen her mind, comfort her heart, and replenish her soul.

Lord, if there’s ever been a time where I’ve fallen short as her husband—through words, actions, or silence—I ask for Your forgiveness. And I ask hers. Heal any wounds I may have caused and let Your love flow through me so that I may love her as Christ loves the Church—with sacrifice, purity, and grace.

I honor my vow to You, God, and to her. I vowed to cherish her, and I do. I vowed to protect her, and I will. I vowed to walk beside her, and I remain. I speak life into her dreams, covering her with encouragement. I will guard her joy, defend her peace, and celebrate her presence all the days of my life.

Help me to be a man after Your own heart—a husband who listens, who uplifts, who sees her not just with human eyes but with divine insight. Let my love for her be evident in the way I speak to her, the way I treat her, and the way I pray for her.

May our marriage be a reflection of heaven. May we grow in grace, walk in unity, and stand in covenant. And when trials come, remind me of my vow—not just before people, but before You.

She is my blessing, my partner, my love. And I thank You for her—every day.

In Jesus’ holy and faithful name,

Amen.
