A Kiss from Rose | A Good Heart

Never regret having a good heart, even when it feels unappreciated or unnoticed. The Bible reminds us that God values our inner intentions more than outward appearances. Galatians 6:9 says, “And let us not grow weary in well-doing, for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” Your heart, filled with love, kindness, and a desire to do good, does not go unnoticed by God, even when people may fail to acknowledge it.

It can be discouraging when our efforts to love, serve, or forgive go unreturned, but remember that we are called to be faithful, not to seek the approval of others. Colossians 3:23 reminds us, “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.” God is the ultimate rewarder of our faithfulness and good works. The goodness you extend to others will never be in vain, because it is God who multiplies and returns it in ways we often can’t imagine.

Jesus Himself is the perfect example of a pure heart. He loved those who rejected Him, served those who would betray Him, and forgave those who nailed Him to the cross. His life shows us that even in the face of opposition, a good heart reflects God’s love. Through His sacrifice, the greatest good was returned—eternal life for all who believe. As we are called to love as He loved, we must trust that every act of kindness, every prayer spoken in faith, and every moment of grace shown to others will bear fruit in its time.

Just like an eagle that soars above the storm, your good heart will help you rise above life’s challenges. Isaiah 40:31 promises, “But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” Even in difficult times, remember that God is the sustainer of your soul, and He will strengthen you to keep going. God’s blessings are not always material but include peace, joy, love, and spiritual growth. When we continue to have a good heart and trust in Him, He fills our lives with abundance, even when we are walking through trials.

So, stand firm in faith. Don’t allow the negativity or ingratitude of others to harden your heart or make you question the value of your goodness. God’s timing is perfect, and He has promised to bring back every good thing you’ve given—multiplied and overflowing.

Keep sowing seeds of love, compassion, and grace, and in time, you will see God’s abundant return on your investment in others. As Luke 6:38 promises, “Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will be poured into your lap.” The kindness you give out will come back to you, overflowing with God’s blessings.

Let your good heart continue to be your greatest strength, knowing that the goodness you share will return to you in beautiful ways, just as God has promised.
