A Kiss from Rose | You May Stumble But You Will Not Fall

You may trip.

You may lose your balance.

You may wobble under the weight of pressure, grief, doubt, or temptation.

But you will not fall.

Not because you are strong — but because God is.

Not because you have it all together — but because His hand is holding you together.

God never promised a walk without struggle.

He never said you would not get shaken.

But He did promise that He would not let you go down.

“Though he may stumble, he will not fall, for the Lord upholds him with His hand.” — Psalm 37:24

Stumbling shows people you are human.

It shows them you bleed, you feel, you go through it just like everyone else.

It reminds them that even the anointed get exhausted.

Even the called get hit.

Even the faithful get weak.

But not falling? That shows people something else.

It shows them that there is a power greater than your pain.

It shows them that grace steps in where strength runs out.

It shows them that God does not let go of what He loves.

When they see you stumble, they expect you to fall.

When you do not, they will wonder why.

And that is your testimony — not that you never struggled,

But that when you did, God kept you from hitting the ground.

So do not be ashamed of the stumble.

Let it humble you.

Let it teach you.

Let it show the world what mercy really looks like.

Because the stumble reveals your humanity.

But the fact that you are still standing?

That reveals your God.
