A Kiss from Rose | When You Walk With God, The Quality of Your Life Changes
Not because life becomes perfect—but because you stop walking through it the same way.
Walking with God doesn’t mean every problem disappears, every relationship works, every prayer is answered exactly how you requested, or every day feels wonderful.
But something does change.
You change.
Your peace changes.
Your decisions change.
Your discernment changes.
Your relationships change.
Your response to disappointment changes.
Even what you consider a “good life” begins to change.
Jesus said, “I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” — John 10:10 (KJV)
Abundant life is bigger than possessions.
It’s having peace you couldn’t purchase.
It’s recognizing what deserves access to you.
It’s sleeping at night because you’ve stopped trying to control everything.
It’s having wisdom to walk away from what once would’ve kept you stuck.
It’s enjoying what you have while trusting God with what you’re still believing for.
That’s quality of life.
When you walk closely with God, you begin asking different questions.
Not simply, “Can I do this?” but “God, is this good for me?”
Not just, “Do I want them?” but “Is this relationship producing healthy fruit?”
Not only, “How much money can I make?” but “God, give me wisdom to steward what You place in my hands.”
Not merely, “How do I get ahead?” but “Are my steps ordered?”
“The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way.” — Psalm 37:23 (KJV)
💌 Grandma’s Corner
Walking with God will have you realizing that everything expensive isn’t valuable, everything available isn’t necessary, and everybody who wants access isn’t assigned to your journey.
Whew.
God starts improving the quality of your life by improving the quality of your choices.
You begin choosing peace over unnecessary conflict.
Purpose over popularity.
Wisdom over impulse.
Healthy love over familiar dysfunction.
Stewardship over appearance.
Rest over proving yourself.
And gratitude over constantly chasing the next thing.
That’s when you realize:
God didn’t only come to change where I’m going. He’s changing how I live while I’m getting there.
Enoch gives us a beautiful picture in Genesis 5:24: “And Enoch walked with God…”
What a testimony.
Not visited God occasionally.
Not remembered God only when trouble came.
Walked with Him.
That’s the invitation for us too.
Walk with God through your morning.
Walk with Him into the meeting.
Walk with Him through your finances.
Walk with Him into your relationships.
Walk with Him through your healing.
Walk with Him into your future.
Because the closer you walk with God, the more His wisdom, peace, correction, direction, and presence begin influencing every room of your life.
And one day you’ll look around and realize:
My life didn’t become perfect.
It became richer in the things money could never buy.
That’s a different quality of life.
