A Kiss from Rose | Spite and Envy

Today, people use the word hating as a generalized term. Usually, meaning a person is jealous of them. The older generation speaks of jealousy and envy. When someone is envious of another person, as my grandmother would say, "they will kill you!" You do not want anyone to be jealous of you; however, you do not want someone to be envious either. Felling envious of another person is usually when a person shows spiteful behaviors. Envy, spite, and jealousy have been going on since the beginning of time. You must continue to pray over yourself and ask God to keep those with these types of spirits away from you.

In most cases, you are unaware that these people feel this way. Below I have different instances and scriptures that have also happened in the bible. When you have time, read the scriptures and look into the stories.

Father, in the name of Jesus, thank You for being the head of my life. I call on You today for protection. Father, protect me from the envious, jealous, and spiteful. Keep me out of their sight and off of their mind. Allow no harm to come near me. Father, cover them with Your forgiving grace and love so that they can love whom You created them to be. Amen.

1 Kings 19:1-2

" The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever." - Alston Shropshire ( Psalm 23 KJV)
