A Kiss from Rose|October 21st

Go where the love is. Why you would stay around negativity and toxic situations? Why would you constantly live in that type of environment? Why would you revisit that place? Are you constantly walking up to the door in hopes they will answer, only to be rewarded with the same unfair treatment? Are you constantly disappointed? Where is the love? At some point, you will have to decide to simply walk away. For your mental health. Simply to remain sane. Go where the love is. When you walk into a toxic room of people, you may feel awkward or withdrawn. Stop entering that room. You may have friendships that are full of drama. Walk away, but still walk in love. You may have family members that treat you like the black sheep or is full of negativity; who possibly may not have your best interest at heart. Free yourself and draw closer to a more positive environment. Go where the love is. You may have in-laws that just don't like you. Cleve to your spouse and make beautiful memories. Go where the love is. Truth be told everyone is looking for love, even the ones not showing it. Which is baffling to me. Shouldn't you give what you too want? There are people who love your children, spouse, friendship, and you. Go there, go where the love is. There are people who love your ministry and what you have to say. Speak and minister to those people. Go where the love is. There are people that love your craft, your music, your ideas, and your business. Go there. Go and grow where the love is. Love grows a person. Negativity shrinks a person. Love cultivates a person. Toxic environments poison a person. Love lives. God is love. Toxic kills and destroys. The devil seeks to kill and destroy. Why are you holding out from a loving environment? Love walks free, not on eggshells. Love is clear and concrete, not doubtful, and full of gray areas. Go where the love is. You deserve to be loved. No matter the storms you have faced or are still facing. Make the choice to be loved and love others. Love is a two-way street. Someone may say " he or she hurt me, I need answers". Listen, you may never get the answers ( right or wrong), and they might just don't have them anyway. No, now you have wasted however many years in a painful environment to get something you will get. Go where the love is. Someone may say, " I want my family to be better and I must show them". Well if it isn't working and it is draining the life out of you, give it to God and move on. Go where the love is. Ask God to order your steps into a loving environment, a positive atmosphere, and a toxic-free livelihood.

My Father in heaven, as I praise Your Holy name and give You thanks, You are my everything. If I had a thousand tongues I still could not praise and thank You enough. As you continue to keep me covered and protected I ask that You order your steps into a loving environment, a positive atmosphere, and a toxic-free livelihood. In Jesus' name, I pray, Amen.

1 John 4:7-21

God Is Love

7 Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. 8 Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love. 9 In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him. 10 In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. 12 No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God abides in us and his love is perfected in us.

13 By this we know that we abide in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit. 14 And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world. 15 Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God. 16 So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him. 17 By this is love perfected with us, so that we may have confidence for the day of judgment, because as he is so also are we in this world. 18 There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love. 19 We love because he first loved us. 20 If anyone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen cannot[a] love God whom he has not seen. 21 And this commandment we have from him: whoever loves God must also love his brother.
