When you wake up with thanksgiving, all you want to do is praise God.
When you wake up trusting God, all you want to do is praise God. If you're going to hold your praise, go ahead. I will praise God this morning because I thank Him for all He has done and has in store for me. I am going to praise God this morning because I trust Him. Continue to hold your praise if you want to, but if you know that no weapon formed against you will prosper, you will let loose with your praise. If you know the traps the enemy has set for you, your feet will not get caught in it; you will not hold your praise. If you know there is something greater on the other side of this thing that has been weighing you down; you will not hold your praise.
Thank You, God, for all that you have done. Thank You for waking me up and walking with me each day. Thank You for my personalized covering, anointing and blessings. Thank You for the test and the testimonies. Thank You for showing Your face in my life. Thank You for never leaving me or forsaking me. Thank You for stability, protection, and discernment. Thank You for being my provider and my comforter. Thank You for answering every tear that I have cried. Thank You for making a clear path for me. Thank You for when the weapon formed; You didn't allow it to prosper. Thank You for my foundation in You, that I know how to stand firmly on the Rock. Thank You for my weaning season, which will follow my harvest and overflow of favor season. Thank You for the praise inside of me in the midst of the storm. Thank You for the victory after the storm is over. Lord, I thank You! Lord, I thank You! Lord, I thank You. In Jesus' name, Amen.

When all of the odds were against her, she persevered. After weathering many storms, one can say she is a survivor; I say God is always with her. Alston did not allow anything to stop her from being who she is, authentically her. Famous, no, not in the worldly context, but famous by those who know and love her. Why? Alston is the type of person that anyone can call on for help. She will be that listening ear. She will bring a smile to your face, even if it is at her own expense. Who doesn't need a person like that around, an unforgettable presence? Alston is most undoubtedly memorable. Her tears, passion, thoughtfulness, antics, laughter, rebellion, and innocence are all just that, unforgettable.
