A Kiss from Rose | Jargons, Vernacular, or Colloquialisms

When you pray, you don’t need to sound like anyone else.

God isn’t moved by fancy words, spiritual lingo, or well rehearsed phrases — He’s moved by truth, honesty, and your heart laid bare.

Let that sink in:

You’re not praying to impress — you’re praying to connect.

Prayer isn’t a scripted monologue. It’s not a performance piece for God to rate. It’s raw. It’s real. It’s sacred ground where your soul and His presence meet.

You don’t need prayer jargons, religious vernacular, or churchy colloquialisms to be heard.

You can put away the pressure to sound holy — just be honest.

God doesn’t need big words. He just wants your real words.

Because the language of the heart will always speak louder in Heaven than eloquence ever will.

If all you can say is “Lord, I’m tired”

If all you can whisper is “Help me”

If all you can offer is silence soaked in tears — that’s enough.

There’s no translation needed for a broken spirit or a desperate cry.

He hears it.

He feels it.

He responds.

Whether you whisper, cry, stumble over your words, or sit in silence — God hears it all.

He’s not listening for perfection. He’s listening for presence.

For sincerity.

For humility.

Because the power of prayer doesn’t come from how fluent you are in spiritual lingo

it comes from Who you’re talking to.

And the good news? God understands you perfectly. Even when you don’t know how to explain what’s going on.

“The Lord is near to all who call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth.” — Psalm 145:18

“In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us through wordless groans.” — Romans 8:26

So come as you are.

Speak how you speak.

He’s listening. And He’s near. 💬🙏🏽✨
