A Kiss from Rose | Good Karma

OH, THE KARMA THAT’S COMING!

And before you start thinking about everybody who did you wrong… let's talk about YOU.

Now, I know when somebody mentions karma, a few names immediately come to mind.

You start remembering who lied, who betrayed you, who mistreated you, who took your kindness for weakness, and who thought they got away with something.

And somewhere in your spirit, you're thinking, “Just wait. Your day is coming.”

WELL, HOLD ON A MINUTE!

What if the karma that's coming isn't about somebody else's downfall?

What if it's about the GOOD you've been putting into the world?

The kindness you showed when nobody was watching.

The people you helped when you barely had enough yourself.

The prayers you prayed for people who never knew you were praying.

The encouragement you gave while quietly fighting your own battles.

The times you could've retaliated but chose peace.

The times you showed up, kept your word, did the right thing, and loved people without keeping score.

WHAT ABOUT ALL OF THAT?

Galatians 6:7 says, “For whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.” (KJV)

Now, the Bible isn't teaching karma as some automatic cosmic payback system. It's teaching us that our choices matter before God.

And Galatians 6:9 continues:

“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”

DID YOU HEAR THAT?

DON'T GET TIRED OF DOING GOOD!

Just because somebody didn't appreciate your kindness doesn't mean it was wasted.

Just because nobody applauded your integrity doesn't mean it went unnoticed.

And just because the people you helped never returned the favor doesn't mean you should regret having a generous heart.

But let me slide this in here, too.

Doing good doesn't mean allowing people to keep doing you wrong.

You can have a beautiful heart AND boundaries.

You can forgive AND move differently.

You can wish somebody well AND stop giving them unlimited access to you.

That's not bitterness.

THAT'S GROWTH.

And here's another thought: before wishing consequences on everybody else, remember that we've all needed mercy for something.

I certainly don't want every mistake I've ever made coming back with interest!

Thank God for grace.

So I'm not spending my days waiting for somebody else's life to fall apart.

I've got too much living to do.

Too much purpose to pursue.

Too much love to give.

And too many good seeds still worth planting.

I'm leaving justice in God's hands, taking responsibility for my own choices, and trusting Him with the harvest.

Because the greatest satisfaction isn't watching somebody who hurt me lose.

It's knowing they didn't turn me into somebody I never wanted to become.

So when I say, “Oh, the karma that's coming!”

I'm not rubbing my hands together plotting anybody's downfall.

I'm checking the seeds I've been planting.

And I'm making sure what's growing in my life is something I'll be glad to harvest.

KEEP SOWING GOOD. KEEP YOUR HEART RIGHT. KEEP YOUR HANDS CLEAN.

And let God handle what comes next.
