A Kiss from Rose | God’s Signature and His Breadcrumbs

Now, let’s click it early this morning. Get in here!

The breadcrumbs show you where He’s been. His signature reminds you Whose hands have been on your life.

Have you ever stopped and really examined how God has been moving in your life?

Because there are two things worth paying attention to: His breadcrumbs and His signature.

And no, they’re not the same thing!

THE BREADCRUMBS ARE THE CLUES ALONG THE WAY.

Those little moments you might have overlooked.

The conversation that came at the right time.

The person who offered help without knowing how badly you needed it.

The unexpected opportunity.

The wisdom that kept you from making a costly decision.

The strength that carried you through a season you thought would take you out.

Individually, you might not have recognized their significance. But when you look back and connect the dots, you begin to see how God has been guiding, sustaining, and providing.

THOSE ARE THE BREADCRUMBS.

Now, let’s talk about HIS SIGNATURE!

A signature identifies who stands behind something. It establishes ownership, authorship, and authority.

And God’s signature on your life isn’t a literal name written across every circumstance.

It’s the unmistakable evidence of His character and His work in you.

The peace that doesn’t make sense to anybody watching what you’re going through.

The grace that helped you get back up.

The wisdom you didn’t have before.

The transformation in your attitude, your choices, and your heart.

The strength to forgive.

The courage to change.

The faith that kept growing even through difficult seasons.

THAT’S WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE WHEN GOD HAS BEEN WORKING ON SOMEBODY!

Psalm 139:5 says:

“Thou hast beset me behind and before, and laid thine hand upon me.” (KJV)

BEHIND YOU. BEFORE YOU. HIS HAND UPON YOU!

And here’s something else.

Ephesians 2:10 says:

“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works…” (KJV)

Did you catch that?

HIS WORKMANSHIP!

You are not simply a collection of everything that has happened to you. God is at work shaping who you are becoming.

Now, don’t confuse His signature with getting everything you want.

Every open door isn’t necessarily God’s approval, and every closed door isn’t necessarily His rejection.

You recognize His work by what agrees with His Word and reflects His character—not simply by whether a situation turns out the way you hoped.

The breadcrumbs invite you to remember His faithfulness. His signature calls you to recognize His transforming work.

One helps you trace the journey.

The other helps you recognize the One shaping your life.

And here’s the part that ought to make you smile:

Somebody may look at you today and have absolutely no idea what it took for you to get here.

They don’t know the prayers.

The tears.

The lessons.

The corrections.

The moments when you almost quit.

But they can see something different about you.

More peace.

More wisdom.

More patience.

More confidence in God.

THE WORKMANSHIP IS SHOWING!

So don’t become so focused on searching for the next blessing that you overlook what God has already been doing.

FOLLOW THE BREADCRUMBS.

Remember where He has been faithful.

RECOGNIZE HIS SIGNATURE.

Pay attention to the person He is helping you become.

Because the greatest testimony isn’t always that God changed your circumstances.

Sometimes it’s that God changed YOU while you were walking through them.

And that is something worth celebrating!

Can you recognize His signature? Do you see the breadcrumbs?
