A child needs instructions, order, discipline, and wise counsel. You can be their friend; the assignment God gave you was that of a parent. You can stunt their growth by trying to be their friend first and not their parent. Being too close and out of order will affect your marriage if you are not careful (parents).

The rate of divorce, death, incarceration, broken home, elder, child, and physical abuse is lower with increased growth. More importantly, the marriage rate, business ownerships, graduations, successful interactions, and personal care are rising.
