A Kiss from Rose| December 11th

There will always be a time when you will have to walk through storms or joyous occasions alone. It may seem like a very long walk or things are moving in slow motion. Enjoy the moment. Do not look at the negatives thoughts like: No one is here to share this moment, no one helped me get here, or I am going through this all by myself; look at it like Jesus wanted to take the time to walk with you. That Jesus wanted some alone time with you. Talk with Him and pray along the way. He is showing you that He will never leave your side. Trust that He has moved everyone out of the way so that you can see clearly and feel His presence. When you "say" you have "faith", do you? When you "say you "trust" Him, are you? Being alone is not a bad thing when your eyes are fixed on Him, heck, if you are that focused you wouldn't even notice no one is there with you. Even Jesus walk alone at times. Remember when Jesus was in the wilderness? He didn't have his disciples with Him. When Jesus took the walk to Calvary, yes, people were there, but that was His walk alone. Only He had to carry that cross. It's ok to walk alone. It is ok to cry as you walk. It is ok to pray as you go. Why, because Jesus is with you.

Jesus went out to a mountain side to pray, and spent the night praying to God. When morning came, he called his disciples to him.” (Luke 6:12-13. See also Mark 3:13)

Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed.” (Mark 1:35)

At once the Spirit sent [Jesus] out into the desert, and he was in the desert forty days, being tempted by Satan. He was with the wild animals, and angels attended him.” (Mark 1:12)
