Hello, and thank you for joining our corporate prayer and fasting. Please see below the instructions for the next two days (August 18, 2021, August 19, 2021). Please be sure to read Grandma's Corner on the morning of the fasting days.
For both days:
Fast is from sun up to sundown
Drink water only
Eat fruits and vegetables only during these days
**If you have any health limitations restricting you from fasting, please follow your doctor's orders.
**Please use discretion when participating; this is optional; we are not liable for any issues that may arise.
Day One
Read the first 14 chapters of Acts (you can read or listen to seven in the morning and seven at night)
Along with these scriptures:
Nehemiah 9:1-3
Joel 2:15-16
Jonah 3:5-10
Day Two
Read the following 14 chapters of Acts (you can read or listen to seven in the morning and seven at night)
Along with this scripture/chapter:
Isaiah 58
1 Corinthians 8:8
Also, please be sure to take away one or more of your weaknesses during this time. For example, mine is the phone (I will not be taking calls during this time), sweets, and soda.
I want to incorporate in the disabled, those with cancer, homeless, those that have drug, alcohol, or sex addiction, those in the hospital (sick and shut-in), and those with mental illness. So, please include them in your prayer. Please make sure you state that you touch and agree with those participating in the corporate fast/prayer, as we will be standing in agreement with you.
