What can God truly count on you to do?
Can He count on you to be a consistent prayer warrior, faithfully lifting up your voice to speak with Him every day? Can He rely on you to communicate with Him, not just when you’re in need, but in the joyful, ordinary moments of life? Will you walk in love and kindness, treating every person you meet as if they, too, are worthy of grace and compassion?
Can He trust that you’ll always strive to do the right thing, even when no one is watching? Will you help your fellow man, your neighbor, the stranger who crosses your path, without hesitation? Can you turn away from hate, doubt, and worry, choosing faith and hope instead?
Will you stop living in fear, remembering that perfect love drives out all fear? Can God depend on you to give Him praise in every season, acknowledging His goodness through the ups and downs? Will you open your Bible and seek His wisdom, following His plan, His purpose, and His will for your life?
Can He count on you to be a good human being—someone who doesn’t lie, steal, or harm others in any way? Are you the kind of person who calls on God, not just to ask for blessings, but simply to talk, to lean on Him as a friend and Father?
Or does He see you as something else?
Is He counting on you to be a troublemaker, spreading chaos wherever you go? Are you shady, messy, and selfish, hoarding wealth while others around you suffer? Are you someone obsessed with titles and recognition, willing to step on anyone to climb higher, regardless of who you hurt? Are you mean-spirited, quick to judge, and only giving the bare minimum when more is needed?
Can God only count on you when there’s a party, a celebration, or a turn-up moment? Are you faithful to show up when the libations are flowing and the fun is in full swing, but nowhere to be found when there’s a call for helping hands and community service? Are you missing in action when it truly matters?
Are you consistent only in your inconsistency, unreliable and half-hearted, your head held high in self-righteousness, as if perfection is yours alone?
So, the question remains: What would God say you are truly consistent in doing, being, and saying? When He looks at your life, does He see a heart that loves, a spirit that uplifts, and a life of integrity?
These are the questions worth asking yourself.
