May is mental health month as this month is coming to a close; I hope everyone has had time to do a mental wellness check on someone. People are suffering mentally and are going unnoticed. No one wants to live with the regret of losing a loved one, and there could have been something more you could have done. Remember, it is not always about you. Does the person even trust you for them to confide in about their mental illness? Do you understand or have taken the time out to research what they are going through? Take the time out today to pray for all that are suffering from a mental illness. Take the time to pay attention to those around you so you don't live with regret.
More importantly, forgive yourself if you are living with regret, as God has already forgiven you.
Here are some listed mental illness disorders:
Mood disorders (such as depression or bipolar disorder)
Anxiety disorders
Personality disorders
Psychotic disorders (such as schizophrenia)
Eating disorders
Trauma-related disorders (such as post-traumatic stress disorder)
Passage for today:
Isaiah 43:2
When you pass through the waters,
I will be with you;
and when you pass through the rivers,
they will not sweep over you.
When you walk through the fire,
you will not be burned;
the flames will not set you ablaze.
