A Kiss from Rose | Forgive Them for They Know Not of What They Do

It can be incredibly disheartening when people you've been kind to leave your life, mistreat you, or fail to appreciate your efforts. It's natural to question why you've been treated this way, especially when you've only shown them kindness. However, it's important to remember that forgiveness is key to moving forward. By forgiving them and letting go of resentment, you can free yourself from the burden of negative emotions. Trusting in God's plan allows you to expect the best outcomes, even in difficult situations.

For example, perhaps you've supported a friend through thick and thin, only for them to turn their back on you when you needed them most. While it may be hurtful, holding onto anger or bitterness will only weigh you down. Instead, choose to forgive and release those negative feelings.

God's love and purpose for you are unwavering, regardless of how others may treat you. While it may feel like good people finish last in a world filled with selfishness, God sees your heart and your intentions. You are not forgotten or overlooked in His eyes. Trust in His timing and His plan for your life, knowing that He will always guide you towards blessings and fulfillment.

Heavenly Father,

I come before You with a heavy heart, seeking Your guidance and strength. Please help me to release any resentment or bitterness I may harbor towards those who have mistreated me. Grant me the grace to forgive them, as You have forgiven me.

I pray for the person who has been kind and good, yet has faced betrayal and mistreatment. Comfort them in their pain and remind them of their worth in Your eyes. Give them the courage to forgive, the wisdom to see beyond the hurt, and the strength to move forward with grace and resilience.

May they find peace in knowing that Your love never fails, and Your purpose for them is greater than any adversity they may face. Help them to trust in Your plan and to continue shining their light in the world, knowing that goodness is never in vain.

In Jesus’ name, I pray,

Amen.
